Andy’s career touched countless lives, both through his work in broadcasting and through his continued contributions as a consulting meteorologist, making him one of the most trusted voices in weather forecasting in the country.
From 1990 to 2013, Andy was a familiar face on FOX 13 News – Tampa Bay, where he earned the admiration of colleagues and viewers alike. Known for his calm demeanor, clarity, and meticulous approach to forecasting, he guided the community through countless weather events, including hurricanes and severe storms. His ability to explain complex meteorological information in a way that was understandable and reassuring made him a true asset to the region.
Even after leaving FOX 13, Andy remained deeply committed to his work. He continued to share his expertise as a consulting meteorologist, helping communities prepare and respond to dangerous weather. Beyond his professional achievements, Andy was a mentor, a colleague, and a dear friend.
