I was on the beach when this horrible tragedy occurred. I called 911 and talked to the 911 operator to get help. Please know we tried to save your husband. He was heroic in that he saved your son and daughter but sadly sacrificed his own life . I wish I knew your husband because he must of been the most amazing loving husband and dad ever . Your children expressed how much they loved him on the beach as we prayed for him. Please know I will pray for you all and will think of you often.
